Go Lauren!
Their 2nd tournament that went a lot better than the first. They made it to the playoffs in their bracket. Got their at 7:45 a.m. and finished around 4:00. Talk about commitment!
This is so funny...the team has to wave to the audience just like the Olympics! The girls think it's the funniest thing.
It's manatory that the girls come together as a team after every play, good or bad. They're smiling in this one, so it must of been good.
Go #8!
Lauren concentrating during her first game of the day...8:30 a.m.
Don't blow it Lauren while you're coach is standing right there! Fortunately, she got all her serves in!
NYC!!!
My friend, Susan and I (also known as the Martha's) took Lauren (Martha in training) to the Martha Stewart Live Show. Here we are during her first taping of the day at 8:00 a.m. We had a blast. The special guest of the day was Rachel, a liberal lesbian who was really funny, a doctor, and Martha's personal trainer.
It was national carrot day when we went. The Martha Show gave us all these Yes To Carrot products, along with real carrots. The bag must of been at least 20 pounds. Here Lauren is modeling one of the Yes To Carrots products during lunch.
We also got Martha's Body & Soul magazine. We couldn't believe how much stuff we got, that we started going through everything at lunch and showed it off.
Some facial Yes To Carrots mask that my friend, Susan is modeling.
Yes, it started snowing in NY that day and it was freezing. We only made it lunch after the show and headed back home on the train. Check out all of our bags!
Unbelievable set. Here Martha is asking the audience some questions after the show was televised.
Lauren took a quick picture of us before the show was going to start. All three of us got on T.V.! Dean called us up and said he saw us a few times. Lauren thought it was the coolest thing to take her. Bad mommy took her out of school.
Dean surprised us and got tickets to see Shrek the Musical on Broadway in January. We all loved it.
Lauren waiting for our car.
How cold? The real feel was -10 degrees.
The kids in front of the Late Show! They wish they were older so they could go.
Winter Wonderland
We woke up to the most beautiful snowfall a couple weeks ago.
